All these little things

Hello everyone 🙂

Patricia and I went out to take some pictures last saturday. It was a beautiful day, the sun was shining and even if it was still very cold (..not the smartest choice to wear ripped jeans ;)) it was the first time this winter that I felt reeeally excited for spring. I have felt a bit unhappy last week, very tired, uninspired, sad sometimes. But this saturday morning, when I felt the sun shine on my face, when I was looking forward to my weekend plans, when I thought about small things that had happened this week, I couldn’t help but smile. Sometimes it’s the littlest things in life that can help to feel good again when feeling sad or discouraged..seeing a little kid cuddling up to his dad, someone smiling at me, a good conversation with a friend, a little gift from someone I like, or just the sun shining on my face..even if it sounds a bit clichĂ©d, but when I take a moment to think about those little things, I can’t help but feel very very privileged. I read a phrase recently that goes well with this idea: „Happiness, not in another place but this place..not for another hour, but this hour.“ Amen 🙂

On the pictures I’m wearing some of my absolute favourite items ever (be prepared for a lot of favourite’s ;)): The black coat from Zara, that I’ve had for years and that I feel I can wear everywhere and everytime, my new favourite jeans from Topshop, my favourite boots in the whole world ( see the gold detail? Heaven!!), my favourite white t-shirt and my (..can you guess it?) favourite jewellery of all time :). I hope you enjoy.

Thank you for reading and have a happy evening. Sabine
